Private View: Cuban Cinema in Frames
At a glance
Eclectic Gallery is pleased to invite you to the Private Views of Cuban Cinema in Frames , an exhibition presented in support of the London Latino Film Festival .
The exhibition brings together a specially selected collection of original ICAIC Cuban film posters , celebrating the remarkable visual language that emerged around Cuban cinema from the 1960s onwards.
Created by leading Cuban graphic artists, these posters transformed film promotion into a distinctive art form. Bold typography, striking colour, political wit, and imaginative illustration came together to create works that remain visually powerful decades after they were first produced.
The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to discover these historic works in person and explore the close relationship between cinema, design, culture, and visual storytelling.
The Private Views will take place on 19 November and 26 November , from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM , offering guests the opportunity to experience the exhibition in a relaxed evening setting and learn more about the stories behind the posters.
We warmly invite you to join us at Eclectic Gallery for this special celebration of Cuban cinema and graphic art.
