Create your own silk neckerchief with Mexican botanical dyes using bundle dyeing, plus mezcal tasting and Mexican snacks. Join Studio Kühü for a special Day of the Dead botanical dyeing workshop , inspired by the colours, flowers and traditions of Mexico. Discover the beauty of Mexican botanical dyes and give rescued flowers a new life as you create your own silk neckerchief using the art of botanical bundle dyeing. You’ll explore how flowers and plants can leave their colours and patterns on fabric, creating a unique piece to take home. Rooted in my Mexican heritage and my practice as a natural dyer, this workshop is an opportunity to slow down, experiment with natural colour and celebrate the beauty of materials that might otherwise go to waste. We’ll also share Mexican snacks and enjoy a mezcal tasting, bringing a little more of Mexico to our studio in De Beauvoir. No previous experience is needed. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with your own naturally dyed silk neckerchief, made by you. Come curious, leave colourful! 🌼
